This is my statement of intent research which was created at the start of the project. It contains information research, ideas and inspiring artist context. Having been a sufferer of Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia i have strong emotions conected to the theme which now as a recovered patient i want to help raise awarness of the medical conditions and expose its deeper dark truths.
This is my statement of intent research for my theme of bones and cells. thisn was created at the start of the project. It contains informantion, research, ideas and inspiring artist context. I chose bones and cells becuse it represents how we judge others by looks and rank hierarchy on diffrent species, yet if you strip it down to whats inside we are all just a composition of bones and cells.
My contextual studies contains indepth informaton and research on the art movments , DADA, Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism and POP Art with details on various artists and their works throughout the diffrent periods aswell as comparasons to contemporary takes on the movement. The document also features research on variouss forms of art such as sculpture, Installation, Live Art and Time Based Art.
